AA072D Hybrid-IC

This hybrid IC was only manufactured under contract to the original tape deck manufactures. When the product lines were terminated so was the IC supply. If this part fails, there is no new part available for replacement, not even to the warranty repair stations. Due to service center needs, we have been contracted to manufacture equivalent replacement parts. These parts are now available for outside of contract purchase without restriction.

To reduce costs over the original part, our design uses a high quality double-sided 1.0mm thick FR-4 fiberglass sub-straight without compromising the signal quality. This part is a direct drop-in-fit part – no modifications are necessary. IC is securely protected with a coating of premium quality thermally conductive UL94 V0 rated epoxy.

These spare parts are examples of electronic assemblies that were manufactured under contract to make available spare parts that could not be provided by the original manufactures. During the parts remanufacturing process, we made improvements to the original parts to reduce customer failures and bring the assemblies to current manufacturing quality standards. These parts were all direct drop-in-fit part – no modifications were allowed for compatibility with a mixture of original parts in a system.

In addition to the electronic assemblies, we recreated the original test criteria and fixtures for operational verification.

LED Back-Light Assembly

If these parts failed, there is no new part available for direct replacement. Due to service support needs, we were contracted to manufacture exact equivalent replacement parts to shorten lead-times.

During the parts remanufacturing process, we were required to make improvements to the original parts to reduce customer failures, bring the assemblies to current manufacturing quality standards, and reduce the cost per unit. These parts were all direct drop-in-fit part. Compatibility with a mixture of original parts in a system had to be maintained.

Transistor SIP5

The manufacture of the dual transistor complements 2SA798 and 2SC1583 has pulled these transistors from the market for over 20 years leaving a market void. If this part fails, there is no new part available for replacement. Due to our needs as well as others, we manufacture an adapter to use the new SOT363/SC88 surface mount dual transistors devices.

Unlike other adapters, our adapter has the same physical footprint and electrical pin-out -- a replacement that is compatible without modifications. Our adapter also allows you to select from several manufactures devices for best application compatibility. Our design uses a high quality double-sided 1.0mm thick FR-4 fiberglass.
