Gibson Engineering can provide you, our customer, with a competent single source for consulting, sales and service of your computer equipment needs. Here are just a few basic services that Gibson Engineering currently provides to our customers.

Maintenance & Repair Service:
  • Highly qualified engineering & service staff.
  • On-site repair of all customer designated equipment.
  • Off-site repair of equipment when necessary. Typically when special tools or test equipment are required to complete the necessary repairs.
  • Emergency and after hours services are available. However, a premium rate will apply.
  • All service work carries a 10 day warranty.
  • All replacement parts carry a 90 day warranty.
  • Single service interface. When necessary, service work will be sub-contracted, in the event that specialized service work is required.
  • Repair record keeping to allow for the best possible service results.

New/Used Equipment, Upgrades and Expansion:
  • A wide variety of Communications Equipment (LAN & WAN), PC Components, Printers, and Terminals. Product manufactures are available to choose from.
  • Turn-key Equipment purchases. Providing what you need when you need it.
  • Consultant service provided upon request.
  • Installation and configuration services.
  • Interface for specialized sub-contracted. Computer/Engineering services, giving you the edge to make informed business decisions.
  • Software consulting available if requested. (Application Enhancements and Generation)

Sparing and Equipment Support:
  • Complete unit back-up of critical use items is expected to be provided by the customer. However if requested, these items can be held by the service provider at a predetermined fee - per item.
  • Parts inventory on high failure items will be held by service provider.
    • Inventory will be held for service provider by a third party vendor, when necessary.
    • Planned port availability is 95 percent within a 24-hour period.

Flexible payment options:
  • Standard pricing is based on time materials used. No service contract commitments before you can get service. You pay for only the services that you use.
  • Upon request, contract maintenance services are available.
  • Payment schedules for individual services will be finalized in a payment agreement.
  • Typical charges are as low as $92.00 per hour for on-site responses within a 24-hour period.
  • Flat rates for labor are available and are priced by item per request.
  • Payment will be due upon completion of services.
  • Payment is requested within 5 working days after services have been rendered. However, if requested an alternate schedule can be arranged.
  • All service requested has a one hour minimum charge. No additional charges for local service.
  • Allowable credit limit for net accounts.
